- Omnisphere is the only software synth in the world to offer a Hardware Synth Integration feature. This remarkable innovation transforms over 65 well-known hardware synthesizers into extensive hands-on controllers that unlock Omnisphere’s newly expanded synthesis capabilities.
- Akai Pro MPC X and MPC Live - System Resources Management Your MPC hardware is capable of handling complex processing when sequencing MIDI data and audio. Just like an operating system on your computer, steps can be taken to optimize your workflow to experience the best possible performance.
- Now here's the magic, where it is combined with the MPC live/X. I have been using Omnisphere with my MPC but now I have to find a way to have them link up. Or I will use my old method which I love cause it's creative and I will still use it. I am fast at it and love it, but to have them linked would be fantastic.
- With 16 backlit genuine MPC pads, legendary MPC workflow, MPC Swing, plus four touch-sensitive knobs providing enhanced MPC software control, you’ll be producing quality music in no time. A large LCD screen (360 x 96 dot graphic LCD) allows you to make tracks without having to look at your computer. Included MPC Software.
- Apr 04, 2019 Is the MPC X or Live fully integrated with Omnisphere 2.6? Yep - and for Akai - it's repurposed old hardware parts disguised as a new product. They need someone to bring order to their chaos. No wise consumer is going to invest in these one-off products because they're just stop-gaps like you said - not a true commitment to the product.

I still use an MPC4000 to sequence and basically create beats before I edit and mix them inside PT. This means I usually prefer to record the synth parts into my MPC before sending them to any Pro Tools channels. So I have a problem.
My hardware is the Saffire Pro 14, and because O2 isn't a standalone, it means I have to send my audio cable, that I would normally connect to the output of a synth - to my Saffire headphones jack in order to pick up a signal from my O2, feeding it into my MPC record function. Surely that's not the way to do this? So the whole PT session, including affects of mixing, distort my O2 sound as it feeds into my MPC. That's definitely not right. I need an independent channel to feed O2 into my MPC, but it has to exist within the PT session. How do I do this?
Thanks
